The Suddhananda Engineering and Research Center, Bhubaneswar was established by the SGI Group in 2009 to meet the growing Demand in technical Know How man power need in the State And across the Country. It is a Affiliated College of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha And Approved by AICTE New Delhi (for B.Tech and M.Tech Courses) and also Affiliated to SCTE & VT, Odisha, Bhubaneswar (for Diploma Courses). In addition to this, it has also got certification of ISO 9001 : 2008 for its Quality Management System.
The College is located in the Techno-campus (an area of more than 60 Acres) at,Nachhipur (Near the Bank of River PRACHI) Bhubaneswar about 20 Kms. away from Bhubaneswar Master Canteen Railway Station. A full-fledged branch of Oriental Bank Of Commerce Bank is operating in the college campus along with the ATM Facilities And Having another ATM of Canara Bank . At present, students are residing in the Ladies Hostel of 500 capacity and a Boys Hostel (1) and Techno Campus Hostel of 500 capacity inside the campus. Boys are also staying in a rented Hostel very near to Campus. The construction of another Ladies Hostel and Boys Hostel, Academic & Administrative Blocks with four-stored buildings, Sports complex (gym), etc. are under full swing. Limited numbers of faculty quarters are available inside the campus.
